Although we are currently a for-profit community, Hips for Hire's vision may quickly take us into the non-profit sector. Here are the visionaries who have been asked to serve the first two-year term. Jackie Donnelly Baisa

Jackie Donnelly Baisa is a freelance photographer and writer. She's written and edited documentation for many local Seattle businesses, most notably Microsoft Corporation  and theBoeing Company . She is currently working on a solo project, writing and compiling a book of humorous essays. As a photographer, she also spends a great deal of time behind the lens. She photographs events, food and products, and many portraits of people in the local entertainment industry. She lived in Europe  for several years and has a passion for travel, language, food, culture, and art. She currently lives in Issaquah with her cat, Fernando.

Rebecca Uleyman

Rebecca Uyleman is qualified with extensive experience creating proven successes in the professional trade ,  advertising, global logistics, engineering and customer service industries.   Her background is in Marketing, Event  Coordination, Executive Support and Modeling.    She is also an incomparable Belly Dancer  bringing beauty and flare to  her audiences.   Her extensive dance experience has her on many stages and in local restaurants throughout the United  States and Canada.  Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts  in Mass Communication  -Journalism Specialization in  Public  Relations  from Seattle University .  Her philosophy is in order to become successful both professionally and personally, one must establish solid relationships with colleagues in order to promote quality, efficiency and productivity.   She is a  strong believer in problem solving, setting priorities, solid external and internal communications, and acknowledging  the strengths of        others. 

 

 

 Atta Dawahare 

Atta Dawahare is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Seattle.  He focuses on working with progressive relationship issues.  His helps people find liberating relationships that bring strength and passion through honest communication.  Atta also helps people coming out of repressive and oppressive religious environments.  Atta has both a Masters of Counseling and a Master of Divinity.  In his spare time Atta loves live music, watching film, reading and hanging out with friends and family.  www.uniontherapy.com

Mollie Singh

Offering traditional Bhangra and Bollywood  dance classes. With over 30 years of professional Indian dance experience, classes are not just about learning, they are about having fun! Group classes are offered on Thursdays from7:30pm-9:00pm at Motion and Rest in Ballard.
